Meet Pastor Steve Perez
Pastor Steve Perez was introduced to the Apostolic doctrine in 1980 at West Whittier Apostolic Church. At nine years old, during a revival with Evangelist Freddie Jose, he received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and by twelve, he was baptized in Jesus’ name. In 1990, he married his high school sweetheart, Veronica (“Ronni”), and together they faithfully served under the leadership of Pastor David and Sister Rosie Hernandez at Family Life Center. Their family grew to include five children: Eli (Maribel), Zeke (Alli), Vianna (Jeremy), Vivica (Eli), and Victoria, as well as four grandchildren: Miles, Mikah, Luke, and Addy.
In 2006, Pastor Steve was installed as pastor of The Fountain Apostolic Church in Ventura, within the Los Angeles District, where he has also served as Bible College Director, Elder, and District Secretary. His ministry vision extends beyond the pulpit: in 2007, he founded Ventura Christian Academy, a K–12 Christian school, and LIFELINE OUTREACH RESOURCE CENTER, an inpatient rehabilitation ministry for men.
