Meet Bishop Daniel Lofton

Bishop Daniel M. Lofton is a dedicated servant and influential leader in the Apostolic Assembly, known for his deep commitment to ministry and the development of leaders across regions. Born on January 20, 1974, in Los Angeles, CA, he responded to the call of God at a young age and was baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ in 1986. His early ministry began through music and youth leadership in the East Los Angeles District, where he supported District and Sector initiatives alongside his parents, Daniel and Mireya Lofton.

Ordained in 1997, Bishop Lofton quickly rose to national ministry involvement, serving in the National Missions Department. His administrative and organizational contributions helped strengthen Apostolic conferences and outreach programs nationwide.

In 2003, he was appointed National Missionary to the New England Region, where he laid a foundation for Apostolic growth in an underserved area. His visionary leadership led to the establishment and expansion of multiple initiatives, including local church development and regional missions. In 2007, he and his wife, Angie, became Pastors of the Boston Apostolic Lighthouse Church, where they have led a thriving and diverse congregation for over 18 years.

Bishop Lofton’s leadership extended to financial administration as Northeast Regional Treasurer, and in 2012, he became the first Bishop of the Northeast District—a milestone that marked the growing strength of the Apostolic Assembly in the region. Under his leadership, the district has experienced consistent growth in church planting, ministerial training, and spiritual formation.

Currently, Bishop Lofton serves as Director of the International Apostolic Bible College for the New England Region, where he is instrumental in training and equipping the next generation of Apostolic ministers. His commitment to theological education and spiritual development was further solidified when he earned his Master of Divinity (MDiv.) from McCormick Theological Seminary in 2021.

Bishop Lofton continues to lead with vision, humility, and a passion for empowering others to serve in the Kingdom of God.
