Meet Dr. Arnulfo Cedillo

Dr. Arnulfo Cedillo was born in San Benito, Texas, the fifth of thirteen children, and has always valued the importance of family and faith. He is happily married to Rinna Darlene Nava, and together they have been blessed with four childrenand nine grandchildren who bring great joy to their lives.

Dr. Cedillo earned a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from California State University, Fresno, a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Hayward, and a Doctor of Education in Organization and Leadership from the University of San Francisco.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Cedillo has dedicated his life to education and leadership. He retired as Vice President of Student Services at Merritt College, and also served in several interim leadership roles, including Vice President of Student Services at Santa Ana College, President of Merritt College, and Dean of Academic Affairs at Urshan Graduate School of Theology. His extensive experience includes serving as a college dean for a religious institution and providing consulting services to churches and nonprofit organizations in the areas of leadership development, strategic planning, discipleship, and mission and vision strategy.

Dr. Cedillo has also been deeply involved in community service. He is a retired member of several boards, including the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District, Urshan Graduate School of Theology and Urshan College, the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology, and the Alameda County Library Advisory Commission.

Currently, he continues to serve faithfully as Assistant Pastor and Executive Board Member at Union City Apostolic Church. He also leads as President of the Advisory Board for both Union City Christian Academy and the Northern Pacific Coast Bible College, where he also serves as an Instructor.

Dr. Cedillo is known for his steadfast faith, passion for education, and heart for developing leaders who will impact both the Church and the community for generations to come.
