A Message from The Chairman
Apostolic Assembly
The Antioch Commission
At the beginning of this administration, President Felipe Salazar and the General Board of Directors decided to embark on this specific plan to promote, implement, and prepare our Apostolic Assembly for the future of the church. We know that we are living in the last hour of the church and therefore we must be vigilant to reach all of our cities with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Over the last few years, our census reports have indicated that our church has welcomed an overwhelming number of English-speaking people throughout the world. Our International and National Missions have allowed us to baptize thousands, and we have become a Global Church.
These are extraordinary limes for the Apostolic Assembly! However, we must strengthen our base. We must revitalize every local church in the United States and plant more churches domestically. The Antioch initiative has been formed to assist all of our pastors and churches in the establishment of new English works and English services at every current Apostolic church. Our goal is to reach not only all English-speaking people in our community, but also our younger generations of English-speaking youth and children. We will continue to be a strong Spanish organization as we honor our beautiful heritage; however, we will become an Antioch church. The Bible says that in Antioch the believers were first called "Christians". Our aim is to facilitate and provide resources to every pastor so they can establish an English only service in their city and beyond. We sincerely appreciate the work that the commission has done. We know that God will give us a great harvest in this last hour!
Respectfully,
English Commission Chairman
Bishop Samuel Rojas
Secretary of Social Assistance

"A CHURCH FOR
ALL PEOPLE"
WHY THE NAME ANTIOCH?
Antioch was a significant location for the spread of the Christian faith during the first century. The establishment of Judaism as a faith system that coexisted with Greco-Roman religion in Antioch, coupled with highly civilized Hellenism, allowed many in this city towel come the Christian message.
Antioch became fertile ground for Christianity among both Jews and Gentiles. Its location was strategic for the commissioning of missionaries and evangelists, to carry the gospel to locations around the Mediterranean to the "utter most part of the earth."

A MODEL FOR TODAY
